Monday 22.18

The train stopped at some windswept lonely stations, if you jumped off and across the line you could buy the local sweet from stalls.
We think we slept well after Rosie played football up and down the corridor with some little children travelling with us.
Dry biscuits and tea for breakfast.
Our friendly attendant pointed out some local landmarks and helped us down from the train with the luggage which is getting heavier by the day.

We were warmly welcomed by Marina and Dasha 1 and Dasha 2.  who whisked us off to the Puccha school after some trauma finding vehicles big enough for our cases!

The school is a really nice building and we had a great space to meet the 10 Leaders in.

The planned training went of well with lots of activities, much hilarity at time and quite a lot of determination to finish activities.

We had lots of interaction between the team members and Participants.  They are very enthusiastic about girl scouting and looking forward to using the activities we tried out today.

We were guests at a lovely lunch then back to the afternoon sessions.

We really we had made good friendships with the group in a very short time.

Another little wait for our taxis before arriving at the Hotel Volgograd.  Rather upmarket from the last hotel, the first check was to see if we had a bed each and we had.

Pizza parlour for dinner tonight and everyone enjoyed the meal although service was very individual with Faith and Maggie being served first and Jennie last spread across an hour.
Some went off walking after that and other headed for bed.

All for tonight.
